Baby Bundles for the Women’s Treatment Center
Each Sunday in February we'll be collecting items for babies at TWTC in the West Loop. Each year TWTC serves more than 1200 women recovering from substance abuse and their children all who live on site. Combs, nail clippers, nasal aspirators, wash clothes, baby powder, slow flow nipples, and baby wash are all needed for 0-6 month olds. Look for a big drop off box at church next week and donate to a family in need.
Worship Small Group
Beginning February 18th, the Youngs will host a new small group at their apartment in Logan Square. The small group will start off with a 6 week study on Music and Worship. The meet time is currently set for 9:30-11:30 am on Saturdays. Coffee and brunchy things will be provided.
Lent and Ash Wednesday
We will join with a few churches in Chicago for a short worship service at 7 p.m. this Wednesday at Covenant Presbyterian Church (2012 W Dickens Ave). Don’t forget to grab a Lent Guide on your way out today for your family to use at home. They can also be downloaded here.
